WHAT iS ROT LOOT ?
When rolls are asked for items of loot and there are no random rolls made, we categorise it as rotting.
This can include items such as armour, non-visibles, weapons and also spells/class wep bits/shawl bits/tradeskill items as well.
DO I NEED TO SEND A TELL TO THE LOOT CALLER TO EXPRESS INTEREST ?
No, rot loot will be automatically processed at the end of all other loot.
CAN I ROLL ON ROT LOOT ?
Yes, people who have won (or not won) items) can roll, even people who have won other rot loot on the same raid day.
WHICH CHARACTERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ROT LOOT ?
Ultimately any, but we give priority to characters that are directly participating in the raid. This takes the form of the two examples below (referred to as Tier1) -
1. On a given raid day, you bring a character to the raid events, you are in the raid and dz, participating, contributing and this is the only character you are expected to get loot for (for the duration of the raid day).
2. Some players will kindly play a needed class in order to bolster the viability of the raid. They will let the raid leader know (as soon as they join the raid) that they are attending with Character A but want to roll on loot for character B.
Any other characters are a lower priority (Tier2), other alts you have not brought to the raid, someone elses main etc etc
IS ROT LOOT FREE ?
Rot loot is charged in exactly the same way as regular loot. If you would normally be charged attendance credit for the item, you will for rot loot also.
HOW DO ROT LOOT ROLLS WORK ?
Rot loot will be called at the end of all other loot.
Tier1 characters will be invited to roll, ran 0 (your score) - 2000 on <item> (or ran n nnn for non-chargeable drops)
If no interest from Tier1 characters then players will be invited to roll for Tier2 characters.
If there are still no rolls, the items will be looted by the raid leader and/or loot caller for tribute.
