Hi, not been around for a while. Where is EQ these days? Haven't raided since lvl 75 so a tad behind...

Some old names posting and still around
We are currently raiding "Velious"
And some original EQ zones! As well as NToV dragons 
Keeping busy, keeping active. Lots to do, no harm in old players wanting to play again and see the world again

Old zones???
Can anyone point me to somewhere for a bit of catch-up regarding expansions and the way the game has changed?

Omg , call yourself a ranger, you shouldn't need anyone to point you anywhere
Biggest change in the game has been the introduction of mercenaries , you can get a cleric / tank / or dps mercenary to fight with you ( just pay a certain amount of plat for it's upkeep ) so pretty much anyone can solo in game now in pretty much each zone.
Though unfortunately , they don't allow them in raids so we still have to keep Garot around

Geforce GTX 660 ti 3GB enough these days? (8 core Xeon with 8GB Mem?)
Mercs sound interesting, I guess I should give up the old DPS/Tank attitude and hire one now...

Also.. didn't SOE introduce a Magelo equivalent?? I can't even remember what level or AA's I had!

Got Magelo working again. Still top Ranger for AC/HP on Antonius.. for my level! (2nd serverwide, wtf? Slack!)

Right, lvl 80 (Thx Wabb!) and managed to double my HP/AC etc with Abstruse Armour (bazaar). Got quite a few more AA. The plow continues...
The amount of content/items added is mind blowing at the moment, but I'm getting my head round it. I'll max out my lvl 80 defensives/dps and then move on to T2 armour groups/lvl 85 I think.
If I level too fast I'm not going to know my way around or have enough AA to be viable for groups of that level. I still haven't really ventured into new (to me, old to you) content and have been soloing MPG for AA
